Biography: Aprilia Budi Hendrijani from Indonesia, is a Research Associate at the Centre for Southeast Asia Social Studies, Gadjah Mada. She graduated from the English Department, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Gadjah Mada University and non degree programme of Thai Studies, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. She previously held the post of a teaching assistant at the English Department, Faculty of Cultural Sciences Gadjah Mada University, casual English teacher at Immanuel Christian University, Yogyakarta and research associate at the Centre for Asia Pacific Studies Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. She has been involved in several cultural and social researches.
